How to work with me

Taking the first step can feel daunting, so I offer a free, no-obligation 15-minute phone or video consultation . This gives us an opportunity to have a gentle first conversation, explore what you're experiencing and what you'd like help with, and decide whether working together feels right for you.
Therapy is a collaborative process, so it's important that you feel comfortable and confident in the person supporting you. There is no pressure or commitment to book further sessions.
You are welcome to contact me to arrange a mutually convenient time for your discovery call. The conversation, like all sessions, will be treated with care, respect and confidentiality .

Online Sessions
Online sessions may suit you if:
● You would prefer to speak from the privacy and comfort of your own home.
● You are unable to travel easily or live outside the local area.
● You want flexible support around work, caring responsibilities or family life.
● You find in-person appointments overwhelming or difficult to manage.
● You want continuity of support when your circumstances change.
● You value having a familiar, comfortable environment for your sessions.
What you need for an online session
You will need a quiet, private space where you feel comfortable, along with a stable internet connection and a phone, tablet or computer with a camera and microphone if you are meeting by video.
It can also be helpful to have a drink nearby, some tissues if needed, and a little time after your session before returning to your usual daily activities.
Online sessions are designed to make support easier to access while keeping the work personal, confidential, thoughtful and emotionally safe. Wherever you are, the focus remains on you, your individual needs and the changes you want to make.
