What is hypnotherapy and how does it work?

Hypnosis is a natural state of mind that we enter many times a day, for example when we are daydreaming, just before we go to sleep and even when we are watching television and can be described as nothing more than a relaxed focus.

ALL clinical and professional hypnosis/hypnotherapy is safe and a completely natural state of mind because you are always in control.

  • Anyone can be hypnotised if they want to be.

  • You cannot be made to do anything you don’t want to do.

  • You cannot be made to reveal secrets or personal information.

  • You cannot stay trapped in a hypnotic trance.

  • You can end your hypnotic trance whenever you want.

Neuro Linguistic Programming

Is a system of methods and techniques that can help to replace

negative habits, limiting beliefs, mental blocks and fears with new

supporting beliefs as well as bringing about positive changes

and behaviours.
You cannot always control your external world and circumstances,

sometimes things go wrong, sometimes we have to face challenging

times and situations. Once you know how to instantly change your state,

it will prevent you from all those prolonged

periods of potentially harmful and unnecessary stress and negativity.
The big advantage of NLP is, it is quick, fast, effective and you don't have to

spend hours raking up the past.

Emotional Freedom Technique

All negative emotions are felt through a disruption of the body’s energy. And physical pain and disease are intricately connected to negative emotions.

Health problems create feedback – physical symptoms cause emotional distress, and unresolved emotional problems manifest themselves through physical symptoms.

So, the body’s health must be approached as a whole. You cannot treat the symptoms without addressing the cause, and vice-versa.

Benefits of EFT:

  • Reducing short-term or chronic stress.

  • Reducing muscular tension and joint pain.

  • Decreasing fatigue and boosting energy levels.

  • Decreasing tension headaches.

  • Coping with emotional problems such as low self-esteem, depression, and anxiety.

Solution focused brief therapy

Actively works toward solutions. It helps clients identify what they do well. It then encourages them to use their strengths to reach their goals. Because SFBT is goal-oriented and short-term, it can be less costly and less time-consuming than long-term therapy.

SFBT can stand alone as a therapeutic intervention, or it can be used along with other therapy styles and treatments. It is used to treat people of all ages and a variety of issues
